1960 Vespa GS150

Vespa 150 GS, 1960 mark 5 The GS 150 with its perfectly proportioned design and elegant styling has become the epitome of classic Italian style. Combined with its more powerful engine(more powerful than it’s predecessors) a 145.6cc and equipped with a 4 speed gearbox , it was capable of longer distances and became the main contender against the Lambretta in the Scottish 6 day trials. This particular 1960 Vespa 150 was purchased over 15 years ago, with every good intention to be immediately restored. But as time went on the project went on hold until the owner’s wife kicked him up the Schatzi. The GS was pulled out from under the house and underwent it’s transformation from barn find to show piece.
